Bringing parents and communities together across Southwark to win change
As well as believing in the power of parents, we believe in taking action. We listen to what matters to you, and support you to work with others to make positive change for your family and community.
As a part of Citizens UK, we work with schools, universities, faith groups, charities and others in the community to bring about social change that benefits the wider communities we work in. Together with Southwark Citizens, we provide training for parents in Community Organising. Parents also have opportunities to lead and participate in activities to drive change in their local communities. These include engaging with leaders in the Southwark Council, London City Hall and others and campaigning on issues such as childcare, high quality and affordable housing and youth violence.

Parent Action community leader and mum, Elsie, joins other Southwark Citizens community leaders at a meeting with the Head of London's Violence Reduction Unit at City Hall.
We want to be a space where families not only feel welcomed, but prioritised. Explore the activities on offer at our branch of Parent Action in Southwark.
