How can I feel calmer?

How can I feel calmer?

Posted by Kathryn Beatham

Kathryn shares two things you could try to help you feel calmer.

You may have lots of thoughts racing through your head. You may be feeling anxious or stressed.

Focusing on breathing can help.

You can also try mindfulness - focusing on the present moment and what your body is experiencing. Think about what you can see, feel, smell, taste and hear.

Try and step back from your thoughts. This can help you be more aware of them and manage your anxiety or stress better.
